Department Q is the series of four Danish movies released in 2012 onwards.
The first movie in this series is called
'The Keeper Of Lost Causes', which was released in 2012 and gave a base for all the next three movies to come. The movie was based on a the novel by Jussi Adler- Olsen.

The movie starts with a failed field operation of an investigation team that causes many injuries to the officers and results in the punishment to the leader of the team and the formation of a new department called Q.

A stubborn characterd man named Carl Mark and his colleague Azad are the leading characters of the all four movies. The investigation method of Carl and Azad is the most interesting in this movie. And that gives the viewers a better trilling experience.

The second movie in this series was released in 2014 is called 'The Absent One'.

This will also comes under crime thriller journal. And comparing to the first movie,crimes and adults contents in this movie is more.

2.The Absent One

In 1994 two young twins are found brutally murdered in a summer cottage. A number of clues point in the direction of a group of young upper class students from a nearby boarding school, but the case is closed as a local outsider pleads guilty and is convicted for the murders. When the case comes up on Carl's desk in department Q 20 years later, he soon realises that something is terribly wrong.
As Carl and Azad start investigating the case, they are led on to an old emergency call from a desperate girl, Kimmie, who seems to know the secrets of the murders. But Carl and Azad will have to contend with a group of influential men at the top of society who will do all they can to keep Kimmie silent.

Viewers will get a thrilling experience with lots of mystery that Carl and Azad's leading investigation. Like the first movie, their ways of investigation is the key part in this movie also which gives the viewers that much thrilling experience.
